Typing Centres
Fill visa, residency and medical-fitness forms from one tap.
- Arabic names captured exactly as printed
- Shorter transactions at busy counters
- Works with your existing web forms
EID Connect is the bridge between a standard Emirates ID card reader and the software your team already uses. One tap fills your web, mobile or kiosk app with the cardholder's name in English and Arabic, ID number, nationality, dates and photo. No re-typing, no browser plugins, no per-PC installer headaches.
Citizen Group registers every bus passenger with their Emirates ID before issuing a travel card. We connected the counter's card readers to their web-based ticketing dashboard: one tap fills the passenger record, and checkers validate the same passenger on board with a mobile app.
One tap replaces minutes of typing, and the data is right the first time.
Fill visa, residency and medical-fitness forms from one tap.
Register patients at reception with the Emirates ID as the patient key.
Faster check-in for UAE residents, with accurate guest data.
Auto-fill tenancy, rental and sales contracts with the correct legal name.
Self check-in kiosks with printed badges and visitor logs.

We help you design data-minimal flows for UAE data protection.
Emirates ID numbers are masked in service logs.
The service streams each card read to your app over local HTTP. Any language works; this is JavaScript.
import { connect } from '@elephantclock/eid-connect'; connect({ onCard: (card) => { form.name.value = card.nameEnglish; form.nameAr.value = card.nameArabic; form.eid.value = card.idNumber; photo.src = card.photoDataUrl; }, });
A mock reader streams synthetic Emirates ID cards, so your team can build the integration before hardware arrives. The client library, mock and examples are free for personal and educational use.
EID Connect reads the data stored on the card chip, for capture, auto-fill and onboarding. Online validation against government records, needed for regulated eKYC, is a separate service. Ask us about it.
Standard PC/SC smart-card and NFC readers that work with Emirates ID. We recommend models and can help you buy them.
Yes. Any web application can receive card data, and we integrate with CRMs, hospital, hotel and property-management systems, and ERPs.
No. A small Windows service runs on the counter PC, and your web app connects to it directly.
The service itself stores nothing. Your application decides what to keep, and we help you keep the minimum needed under UAE data-protection law.
